Virus or no virus I am not being a guinea pig and trying no virus for at least a year after it is out.
I'm guessing there will be more waves next year

CDC shortens COVID-19 quarantine to 'reduce burden' on Americans

In a move praised by epidemiologists, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention has shortened the recommended quarantine time for those exposed to COVID-19 who are not showing symptoms, suggesting seven days for those with a negative test and 10 days for those without one. The organization encourages Americans to get a test in the “final two days” of quarantine, either via PCR or a rapid antigen test.
The new guidance is a departure from the 14-day quarantine initially put in place by the CDC, which did not mention testing. During a press call Wednesday, the CDC noted that a two-week quarantine is still the optimal way to protect against spreading the virus, but with COVID-19 cases trending upward in nearly every state, experts agree that a reduced quarantine may encourage more Americans to stay home."

safer to isolate for14 days
3 f my friends and 2 of my relatives have tested positive so far, 4 are over it and one is still quite badly sick at home, this is not a hoax it can get you really sick, I have talked to all my friends and family who had it, do everything not to get it.
How long the vaccine will give us immunity is what I want to ask before taking it.
It is impossible to know until large scale vaccinations happen and if people get sick afterwards and then we will have a better idea.

We need a vaccine and cure or else this will just continue for ever
Yesterday the news site i read said 70 million people in the world have had the virus
How ling will it take for everyone to have access to the vaccine, and how many will opt out of it. This is what will impact the effectiveness of the vaccine. If half the population are not vaccinated how will it reduce the pandemic?
