There are advertisers here without a referral program.

They are working on it, been discussing it for a little while.

A license to start programs would go so far in weeding out the cowboys who think Wordpress and ccbill account is all it takes to call themselves a sponsor.

The only biller I can think of that has an affiliate porogram and referral option is ccbill, which night explain why ccbill programs have a rferral program over other billed sites.

That's true but they really do charge a premium for it. (15% - 17% for ccbill compared to 5% - 6% with your own merchant account). It tends to be the smaller sites (and more likely to go out of business) that use them because anybody with a resonable turnover can get their own merchant account

Prime example, one of our webgirls closed down her ccbill site over a year ago and diverted all her traffic to her TAC site because her webmaster retired. 12 months later and we are still seeing over 5k clicks a month coming from her old ccbill affiliates even though the site has long since closed.

The rates have not changed since I remember back in 1998-9 it is amazing people still accept so much of their sale to go to the billing outfit.

I'm adding sponsors to my site and it has started to make me referral income form webmasters who register off my links on there.

Easy peasy money for me.
