webp and webm are both good I have been using them for months to speed up my sites

Any new image used needs to be webp or else you are working in yesterday land.

Not tried webm yet but that's next on the list

Im guessing webm is probably not as critical as webp since the browser doesnt download the whole video file (like it does with webp images) and instead downloads a small portion and streams it
