right you feel foolish?

Etymology. The English name of Turkey (from Medieval Latin Turchia/Turquia) means "land of the Turks". Middle English usage of Turkye is attested to in an early work by Chaucer called The Book of the Duchess (c. 1368).

Unfortunately this is the kinda thing you get when religion and state intermingle.

Doesn't sound like they have much support either. They claim to have got 150,000 signatures out of a population of around 85 million. Thats fuck all !
