Visa and Mastercard had already suspended Pornhubs merchant account (so they couldn't accept any user signups) but now they have stopped card payments for advertising aswell

I guess that means Pornhub's only income now is from affiliate sales

Those three are what we know of, who knows what other businesses on or off line they have going. When you're making that much money you must have multiple opportunities to diversify and invest. Plus I am sure they have thought of the various possible problems that may come up and have planned for it.

You could be right but Im not sure they planned for loosing their merchant account. When your an online business and you suddenly cant accept card payments anymore then your pretty much screwed.

They cant even sign up with the likes of ccbill or epoch because mastercard has told all their 3rd party billers not to deal with them

From what Ive read, they seem to be going out of their way to say they are NOT trying to ban porn.

If you think about it, yes it would hurt us webmasters but it would also upset half of visa/mastercard users who expect to be able to use their cards WITHOUT being morally judged by their credit card company

I suspect that both Visa and Mastercard make too much money out of porn to want to turn their back on it
