Tacnet what affiliate software you using

Just curious have a friend looking to start a program is leaning towards NATS but I said I'll ask what you have, it looks juicy.

Hey

Ours is all written in-house. When we started back in 2003 there was no NATs or anything like that so we developed our own tracking software from the ground up

Adrian did you start the program with your own software or did you reach a point where you said I best have one coded.

You have to spend money to make money,too many in adult get in thinking it does not take hard work, hours and money to make that pot of gold at the end of the rainbow. Some people take it as a business while others chase that beer money.I am no where near Tacnets income but I do alright. Since starting in porn I have bought my first house, a duplex and lease a new BMW every 3 years.

Hey guys

To be honest, we've always done our own coding.

Back in 2003 we were just 3 webmasters with about 12 sites between us and I wrote some code (it was actually a kind of popup) to share traffic between us. we called ourselves The Adult Coalition (until we figured out that no bugger could spell coalition so we shortened it to TAC lol)

Over the years we have looked at other systems (Nats etc) but they never fully met our needs so we prefer to develop our own stuff. That way we dont have to rely on 3rd parties for support and its much easier for us to scale up as it grew

No there wasn't really affiliate programs back then. All you had was website owners and a handful of free sites (eg watchersweb.com, thehun.net etc) where you could post a few pics

So we started off with a site called janeyweb.com (my ex business partners wife) and because we were one of the first people in the industry the BBC did a documentary about us. They called me "Britains Porn King" which sounds great now but back then it was terrifying because nobody did that kind of thing then.

It was worse for Janey herself and we were honestly expecting hoards of protesters outside the house the night that program went out but as it turned out, she made about $10k in signups in one night and ended up doing several more TV appearances after that.

That's what really launched us as we were getting a lot of webmodels approaching us after that

Anyway Janeyweb closed down around 2008 but by that time we had around 30 sites on our little network. We opened up our affiliate program in 2009 and have been doing it ever since

Adrian I remember Janeyweb with the white button "Janey says we're quality" funny how after so many years you meet up with people.

That makes the two of us old boss which still beats not remembering things from a couple of decades ago, that would imply we are going senile
