95% of this industry is driving on empty

The progression over the past 3 years where so many in the industry are now broke is very alarming.

Just look at some of the sponsors in the affiliate forum here, it is obvious they are on life support. One has his site running thru an old program where half the links and images are broken. Some never reply because they are not serious about their site.....

it started dying 10 years ago most of the webmaster i know from back then all got out of adult half of them dont even do online marketing anymore.

Thats very true. Not sure this is a new phenomenon though.

We started in 2003 and I would estimate that 90% of the startups we've seen over the years have gone by the wayside. Most had big plans to take over the world but quickly realise its not that easy

I think it's like Mark Zuckerberg said, to be a success online you have to "Get Big Fast" ;)
