[CONTEST] $200 Monthly Top Referrers Contest

Top referrer each month will get $200, since this is new and it needs time to get going, it will run from now March 19th 2022 until April 30th 2022. The second contest will run May 1st 2022 until May 31st 2022, the third contest will run from June 1st 2022 until June 30th 2022, it is the number of new referrals per month not from day one. We will do it every month if it gets popular for now it is for at least 3 months.

I have added the referrer stats in the footer, so everyone can see the number of referrals real time, it is not accumulative from when the referral script was added, but the number of new referrers from today. You can see how many the top 5 have at the start of this contest.

Keeping it simple, a referred member has to make a post, with some profile information, so we can all see it is a real person not a spambot.

If you do not already have your referral link all you have to do is:

1. Click on your user name in the upper right hand.
2. Click on user control panel.
3. Click on profile
4. Click on referrals.
It is listed there.

I found a setting to show the top 3 referrers in real time in the footer of the index page, should make it easier to track things.

Dom_trev had 2 referrers every other participant had 1 , so he wins.

Just an observation, when we started the 2nd contest here I noticed the referrals were not tracking on the index page where it says "Top 3 referrers"

There is nothing fishy going on, I see them in the admin panel, and have asked 4 times on the official extension support forum why that is. I have not heard back in a month and a half, for sake of keeping everything open and transparent here is the place I asked.

Just so everyone knows, in phpBB lingo what we call a plugin in Wordpress is called an extension. Every extension author has a support section on the site, here is where I have asked for help to show the referrals on the index page. Just like last month if the thing does not get resolved I will post the admin stats here come June 1st.
