I am buying a blog and want to merge the database into mine

Hi I am buying a blog with very similar content as mine and want to merge the database into mine, is there a way to do this without asking my host for help, I have asked them too many help questions in the past month.

should not be that hard. there are some good free options. if you have cpanel. ask your host to do a cpanel to cpanel

I haven't done any merges, but shouldn't you be able to import the data into your existing database and tables from within phpAdmin?

I bet 90% of webmasters have never used or know how to use SSH, it took me a while to get the hang of it, just saying.
