Anyone here have progressive lens glasses?

Post by TheButcher » September 16th, 2020, 12:36 pm

So I am told by the optician today that I need progressive lenses in my glasses. I read up on it and basically what I learned was they are a T shape, where the top part is for seeing far, the middle for working on the computer and the bottom part to read. Never had this, always had one pair for all.

The sides of the "T" are basically blank glass, and pros and cons to this or should I go for bifocals?

Have tried them went back to Costco had them make me a regular pair for driving and one for reading-computer time. Just could not get used to them after 10 days.

my dad had them and never liked them so went for 2 pairs of glasses after a while. The viewing area is very tight with those.

They are not easy to get used to mine took nearly a month, but once you get used to them it's all good.
