This morning I nearly fell laughing my head off. Was in Ralphs doing some shopping, a woman 10 feet away sneezed, 3 people within a yard of her ran like they had seen a ghost. She as wearing a mask and sneezed into her elbow. People are paranoid about this virus, heck sneezing is a natural act we all do once in a while.

Spring break is going to lead to a big spike in cases, it did last year, so play safe.

People who wear glasses are 2-3 times less likely to get infected by the Coronavirus according to this study.

https://nypost.com/2021/02/22/people-wh ... -19-study/

"People who wear glasses are two-to-three times less likely to get infected with COVID-19, a new study has found.

Indian researchers studied 304 patients whose glasses-wearing habits were examined through a questionnaire and compared with existing studies of the general population, according to research published in medRxiv, which is not peer-reviewed.

“This present study showed that the risk of COVID was two to three times less in spectacles-wearing population than the population not using spectacles,” Amit Kumar Saxena said in the findings, the UK’s Mirror reported.

“Protective role of the spectacles was found statistically significant, if those were used for (a) long period of the day,” he added. “Touching and rubbing of the eyes with contaminated hands may be a significant route of infection.”

The researchers said people touch their face on average 23 times an hour and the eyes on average three times per hour.

“Touching one’s nose and mouth is significantly reduced when wearing a face mask properly. But wearing a face mask does not protect the eyes,” the study said.

“The nasolacrimal duct may be a route of virus transmission from conjunctival sac to the nasopharynx,” according to the study.

According to the authors, a total of 58 patients wore glasses continuously during the day and during outdoor activities."

How do you feel about this airline pass, soon there will be more passes i suppose.

"The International Air Transport Association (IATA) says it expects its digital Covid Travel Pass will be ready "within weeks".

The pass is an app that verifies a passenger has had the Covid-19 tests or vaccines required to enter a country.

It also verifies they were administered by an approved authority.

The industry body sees the pass as essential for reopening air travel, as many countries still have strict restrictions or quarantines in place.

"The key issue is one of confidence. Passengers need to be confident that the testing they've taken is accurate and will allow them to enter the country." said Vinoop Goel, IATA’s regional director of airports and external relations.

"And then governments need to have the confidence that the tests that the passengers claim to have is one which is accurate and meets their own conditions.""

You have a test it is negative, you can get the virus the next minute so how is that any proof you are not infectious.
