December 25th till January 11th all non-essential businesses are going to close down in Quebec. Highs chools will close December 17th till January 11th.
I say do it 3 months and make a real impact.
I say do it 3 months and make a real impact.
If it's not worldwide with people travelling all over then what's the point
The French president has tested positive for it.
Which vaccine will you take when it is readily available or none of them?

Only in Los Angeles, tinsel town where the rich and famous will pay thousands to get the covid-19 vaccine fast.....
https://www.thestar.com/news/world/us/2 ... lp-me.html
"LOS ANGELES–They’re offering tens of thousands of dollars in cash, making their personal assistants pester doctors every day, and asking whether a five-figure donation to a hospital would help them jump the line.
The COVID-19 vaccine is here — and so are the wealthy people who want it first.
“We get hundreds of calls every single day,” said Dr. Ehsan Ali, who runs Beverly Hills Concierge Doctor. His clients, who include Ariana Grande and Justin Bieber, pay between $2,000 and $10,000 a year for personalized care. “This is the first time where I have not been able to get something for my patients.”
With the first doses in short supply, California has laid out a strict order of vaccinations based on need and risk: Healthcare workers and nursing home residents, then essential workers and those with chronic health conditions, then, finally, everyone else.
But to those with power, money and influence, rules can always be bent. California’s stern messaging about serving the neediest first hasn’t stopped the rich from trying to leap ahead of teachers, farmworkers and firefighters.
Dr. Jeff Toll, who has admitting privileges at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, one of the first hospitals to stock the vaccine, recalled a patient asking: “If I donate $25,000 to Cedars, would that help me get in line?’” Toll said no."

As if this was not bad enough now they are saying there is a new strain of the virus which is spreading fast
https://www.yahoo.com/news/explainer-co ... 55636.html
"Reports from Britain and South Africa of new coronavirus strains that seem to spread more easily are causing alarm, but virus experts say it’s unclear if that’s the case or whether they pose any concern for vaccines or cause more severe disease.
Viruses naturally evolve as they move through the population, some more than others. It’s one reason we need a fresh flu shot each year.
New variants, or strains, of the virus that causes COVID-19 have been seen almost since it was first detected in China nearly a year ago.
On Saturday, Prime Minister Boris Johnson announced new restrictions because of the new strain. Several European Union countries and Canada were banning or limiting some flights from the U.K. to try to limit any spread.
Here’s what is known about the situation.
WHAT'S CONCERNING ABOUT THE RECENT STRAIN FOUND IN ENGLAND?
Health experts in the U.K. and U.S. said the strain seems to infect more easily than others, but there is no evidence yet it is more deadly.
Patrick Vallance, the British government’s chief scientific adviser, said that the strain “moves fast and is becoming the dominant variant,” causing over 60% of infections in London by December.
The strain is also concerning because it has so many mutations — nearly two dozen — and some are on the spiky protein that the virus uses to attach to and infect cells. That spike is what current vaccines target.
“I’m worried about this, for sure,” but it’s too soon to know how important it ultimately will prove to be, said Dr. Ravi Gupta, who studies viruses at the University of Cambridge in England. He and other researchers posted a report of it on a website scientists use to quickly share developments, but the paper has not been formally reviewed or published in a journal."

I love these articles were religious guys say come pray and they think Jesus will save them from the virus.
Ooops it's real and it kills people.

"A Texas pastor who repeatedly questioned COVID-19 restrictions and continued to hold services during the pandemic lost both of his parents to coronavirus complications earlier this month.
Pastor Todd Dunn of Fort Worth's 2nd Mile Church was in the hospital on Dec. 7 when his 84-year-old father and 79-year-old mother passed within hours of each other. Both of the Dunns were parishioners at their son's church, and began to feel ill around Thanksgiving.
Dunn, whose social media posts have called the coronavirus restrictions a plot of "the Left" and a countermeasure against Christians in America, said in a recent interview that he was operating on bad information in the early days of the pandemic. When the pastor first urged "faith over fear" among his congregation, the coronavirus numbers in Texas were much lower, the threat more abstract."

so the vaccine is being rolled out, are you lining up t get the shot. Not risking it myself, going to wait see what the side effects and reactions are before getting it.
LA County hospitals are at near limit and the Christmas cases have not hit yet, we are doomed.
So the vaccine is not instant, that can be real.
"(Reuters) - A nurse in California tested positive for COVID-19 more than a week after receiving Pfizer Inc's vaccine, an ABC News affiliate reported https://bit.ly/2L8iBel on Tuesday, but a medical expert said the body needs more time to build up protection.
Matthew W., 45, a nurse at two different local hospitals, said in a Facebook post on December 18 that he had received the Pfizer vaccine, telling the ABC News affiliate that his arm was sore for a day but that he had suffered no other side-effects.
Six days later on Christmas Eve, he became sick after working a shift in the COVID-19 unit, the report added. He got the chills and later came down with muscle aches and fatigue.
He went to a drive-up hospital testing site and tested positive for COVID-19 the day after Christmas, the report said.
Christian Ramers, an infectious disease specialist with Family Health Centers of San Diego, told the ABC News affiliate that this scenario was not unexpected.
"We know from the vaccine clinical trials that it's going to take about 10 to 14 days for you to start to develop protection from the vaccine," Ramers said.
"That first dose we think gives you somewhere around 50%, and you need that second dose to get up to 95%," Ramers added."
