Had my 3 shots, looking forward to my fourth. Hopefully any last remaining Anti-Vaxxers will get it too.

So we now know that the vaccine did not prevent you from catching Covid-19 and it was not tested to see if it prevents vaccinated people from spreading the virus. Just saying....

How many doses of the vaccine have you had so far. I have had 3.
We're screwed with this new SARS-CoV-2 virus variant called XBB.
"A highly mutated descendant of the Omicron variant of the SARS-CoV-2 virus that drove a record wave of infections starting around a year ago, XBB is in many ways the worst form of the virus so far. It’s more contagious than any previous variant or subvariant. It also evades the antibodies from monoclonal therapies, potentially rendering a whole category of drugs ineffective as COVID treatments."

Covid-19 getting worse in the Flu season was to be expected, let us hope it is not that bad this year.

We will see, heard about all the most dangerous strains a few times already.
The best outcome is this winter no major out break occurs and the virus starts disappearing of the radar.

This I found very interesting to read.
"A COVID-19 booster, specifically a third vaccine dose, may lower protection against getting infected with the omicron variant again for some people — and there’s a reason why, new findings suggest.
In contrast, two vaccine doses, followed by an initial omicron infection, may protect more against a second omicron infection than an extra jab, according to a preprint study published Nov. 1 to medRxiv, a server run by Yale, BMJ and Cold Spring Harbor Laboratory. This is due to a specific reaction within the immune system, researchers concluded.
Here’s what the findings mean.
“If you got infected with Omicron at any time, a third vaccine dose actually doubles your risk of reinfection compared to 2 doses only,” Dr. Daniele Focosi, who specializes in hematology and works at Pisa University Hospital in Italy, wrote on Twitter in response to the findings. “Amazing immune imprinting at work.”"

The news is not talking as much about Covid-19 this year now that is good news.
Any new variants I should read up on?
