[BUSINESS] another newb question: Is it okay to use a site name in your url's?

Let's say my domain xyz . com / sponsorchat.html?

sure

xyz . com / mayashandjobs if you want to devote a page exclusive to that sponsor

or

xyz com / handjobs if you wanted a handjob page with multiple sponsors

or

xyz com / mayagivesahandjobtoherboyfriend if you wanted a page for a specific scene

my thoughts

as sponsor is in extednsion and not domain rooot

eg

youpornxvideosxhamster . com would probably get you sued

Generally you are better off using a domain-name thematically aligned with the site you want to promote - and avoid the actual name. Tons of domains are forcible transferred/deregistered for cybersquatting, that of course only happens if theres a trademark but that is often the case with bigger sites.

So, say you want to promote chaturbate -> yes you can probably find an available extension/spinoff like xxx-chaturbate.net or something, but you are on safer ground with for instance free-live-sexcams.net or the like...you dont infringe & are thus certain you dont suddenly lose the domain

You might get a cease and desist notice if they want to protect their name and trade mark, so why go there.
