The only reason to delete a post or thread is if it involves something that violates the FAQ, which on this site has always been very simple and logical. Don't post anything illegal, racist,entice violence, criminal activity, other people's personal information, gambling, escort links and chat. There is too much censoring online as it is, not my business but what is the point of a forum if you go around deleting posts. The only other time I delete a thread is if there re no replies. You delete a thread or lock it where people have replied they get mad, all they do is start a new thread asking or complaining why a thread was deleted or locked. I hope this clarifies my position on deleting threads.
