[NON-BUSINESS] A little temperature, sore throat, runny nose, body aches...

Post by TheButcher » September 27th, 2021, 9:14 am

A little temperature, sore throat runny nose, body aches like crap since Saturday afternoon. Fully vaccinated with the Pfizer vaccine, had my 2nd dose on June 13th. First thought was can it be a break through infection and can it be the Delta one. In my room all alone, feel like a zoo animal, kids are leaving food at the bedroom door. Luckily have a little fridge in here and a master bathroom. Got tested yesterday waiting for the result today. Waiting is one thing I hate in life, i like everything done yesterday. Not going to let it get in the way of life, but might take it a little easy on the online work today, we'll see how it goes.

Peace

Oh and the best part I get to go out to the side yard sit in the patio and smoke :)

There is a little patio just outside of this bedroom, with a 5 foot hedge around it for privacy, and a small table with 2 chairs.

thats exactly how mine started two weeks ago.

Im sure you'll be ok as youve had the jabs. I was bad for a few days but now im fine except for this annoying cough which apparently can last for weeks afterwards

hope you ok

I just heard back, the test was negative. Boy do I fell sick though. I suppose it is a bad cold but it scared the shit out of me until I got told it is not the dreaded virus.

It has to be one of the only times you are glad to have a cold even though it makes you all sick just so you are not sick with the Corona virus.

Yes it is Jag but still not a pleasant experience. I think we have been home so long that we are not used to the regular viruses out there and the body is not immune to it as it used to be.

Glad to hear your ok Butcher
@shoopa - Im fine now thanks.

The one upside of catching covid (so long as your double jabbed) is once youve had it, the chances of you getting it a second time is almost zero. Apparently very few people have had it twice. To be honest Im kinda glad that ive got it out of the way as it were.

Obviously they dont know how long the immunity lasts

Thanks tacnet whatever it is I have should get an award for being a nasty infection if there are awards for diseases. The temperature is the one thing that is worst. I can not remember the last time I had a cold, but this thing is pretty good at ruining your day.
