SPONSORCHAT - Peel Ads - Do you use them?

If you do have you found they helped your conversions? If not is it because you found them too difficult to add to your site, you don't use a sponsor who provides them or you just think they are nasty and don't want to use them. I'm asking because we are thinking about introducing them and just wanted a bit of feedback. I don't use them, personally I find them annoying, you go to the upper right to close a page and pass over the darn things. They are even more annoying for me than pop-unders that load behind a page. That's what i think of them, but I maybe in the minority.

I really don't mind peel ads myself, what I do hate is those "fly in" ads. I'm in the business and they tick me off too, I don't like annoying my surfers I want them to come back but whatever works.

I never care to click on them. The same goes for the pop-up, pop-under and mouse over ads. The best thing is to use the banner or text ads.

Like just your eyes looking at the surfer from the top of the page.
